The Pickwick label tried to cash in on the duo’s recent success by releasing this LP, posing it as material that they had recently recorded, which was not true. When Simon and Garfunkel got wind of this, they sued Pickwick over the fact that it was falsely advertised as new music, and forced Pickwick to withdraw the record from circulation shortly after its release, but not before it had sold several copies.
